Описание программы обучения "Engineering and Management"

In order to cope with this dynamic and complexity, companies need permanently well-trained specialists who have an integrative effect by simultaneously taking technical and business requirements into account when building, using and adapting value creation structures.

The bachelor's degree in industrial engineering provides a balanced amount of specialist knowledge of important engineering and business administration. During the entire course, particular emphasis is placed on the integration of these two training areas. In addition, there is the further development of general skills and competencies such as Teamwork and communication.

Учебный план программы обучения "Engineering and Management"

In the modules of the 1st and 2nd semesters, technical and business fundamentals are taught, the 3rd and 4th semesters serve to deepen the knowledge already acquired through advanced modules.

The 5th semester is the practical study semester. It comprises at least 80 working days in an industrial company and can be completed domestically or abroad.

The sixth semester begins the in-depth study, in which the students choose in-depth modules with 10 ECTS points each from the module groups "Technology" and "Business Administration" and 15 ECTS points from the module group "Integration". A further 10 ECTS points are freely chosen from the module groups. During the in-depth study, the bachelor's thesis is prepared, which usually lasts 2 months and is graded with 12 ECTS points.

Basic and advanced modules in the 1st - 4th semester (examples):

engineering mathematics, computer science, physics, electrical engineering, technical mechanics, fundamentals of business and economics, electronics and measurement technology, control technology, construction and development, procurement, production and logistics, Marketing and sales, project management, production technology

Practical phase in the 5th semester:

Practical time in the company, practical seminar

Advanced study in the 6th and 7th semester (examples):

"Technology" module group: sensors, internet technologies, automation technology
Module group "Business Administration": ERP systems, controlling, private business law
Module group "Integration": logistics and factory planning, quality management, database systems and applications
