Учебный план программы обучения "Engineering Management – Industry"

The course combines topics from the fields of engineering and business administration. At the same time students learn concepts that link these two disciplines together in what are called integrative modules. Both specializations are taught together whenever this is possible. Business and engineering related specialization modules and optional modules for the chosen specialization must be completed in year three. Engineering Management - Industry is a very hands-on course. Concepts students learn in lectures can be put into practice in laboratory sessions and case studies. An internship semester that ends with the submission of the final thesis helps students transition to their careers.

The "Friedberger Triade", the trademark of the department, symbolizes our self-image of the industrial engineer.
This area of tension between people - technology - business has a decisive impact on the content and concepts of the department.

The economy needs engineers who can create connections between technical and economic aspects beyond the narrow technical boundaries. In addition to the networking of technical and economic tasks, an essential characteristic of the industrial engineer is the interface competence, i.e. willingness to make decisions, communication skills and willingness to cooperate during the course be developed.
