Учебный план программы обучения "European and International Law"
After a Basic Phase with Module 1: European Integration, 4 in-depth tracks are offered: Track 1 with Module 2: European Economic Law - Regulatory - Compliance, Track 2 with Modules 3 and 4: Trade, Investment and International Dispute Settlement, Track 3 with Module 5: European and International Human Rights and Track 4 with Module 6: Technology & Law (currently only available in German). This is followed by the writing of the Master's thesis.
The courses are held mostly in English, some in German and are concluded with a written or oral examination. Credit points are awarded for almost all courses. A total of at least 45 credit points must be earned in the study program. Another 15 credit points are awarded for the Master's thesis, making a total of 60 credit points.
Soft Skills
Supplementary qualifications or "soft skills", in addition to professional qualifications, play a very important role in professional life. These competences are thoroughly examined during professional interviews and not infrequently the decisive factor for further professional development.
In the course of a career, these acquired "soft skills" are indispensable and are assumed to be self-evident in practice. That is why we not only offer our students a comprehensive and well-founded professional training, but also allow them a multitude of additional qualifications. In the course of the Master's degree at the Europa-Institut, it is thus possible to optimize their own abilities individually and acquire further skills.
Excursions
Saarbrücken is located in the border triangle of France, Luxembourg and Germany. Its geographical location makes the Europa-Institut an optimal starting point for the organization of trips to cities of European significance and to important European institutions, where theoretical knowlege can be put into practice.
Each year, the Europa-Institut organizes excursions to important European and international institutions in order to experience theory in practice.
