Учебный план программы обучения "Fine Arts"

The “Fine Arts” course covers the areas of painting, free graphics, sculpture and new media. Applicants with particular artistic talent are selected in an aptitude test.

Basic doctrine

The focus of the studio practice in the basic teaching is experimental student work; it is the heart of it. The students should come into a work flow in which experiments are provoked, doubts are used, the perseverance to deepen known paths and the courage to transcend are tested as constructive processes.

The studio practice for the BK and ISS/GYM students is initially part of the two-semester basic course, with the artistic work being accompanied in individual and group corrections. From the 3rd semester onwards, studies continue in the various specialist classes.

To enrich and supplement their studio practice, students in the two degree programs BK and Iss/Gym attend a three-semester basic program with a variety of practical courses on different media as well as workshops and lectures.

Main course

Following the basic course, students are accepted into a specialist class in the third semester after a preliminary examination. Courses in art science and history, aesthetics and philosophy continually complement artistic practice.

In the main course (fifth to tenth semester), teaching in the specialist classes is the core of the course. The promotion and development of an artistic personality are the focus of individual and group lessons. The artistic practice takes place in specialist classes and workshops. It is the responsibility of the specialist class leaders and the workshop managers. The forms of work acquired in the basic studies and the technical and technical knowledge are intended to lead to independent artistic expression. The students choose and develop their own areas of focus in artistic practice. Students also develop their own areas of focus when studying art, aesthetics and philosophy. Interdisciplinary artistic and cultural studies courses are pursued as part of the Studium Generale. The focus of the main course of study is the promotion of the development of artistic personalities.

At the end of your studies there is the graduate examination. If the course is completed with particular artistic success, the title of master student is awarded.
