The Medical Faculty Tübingen is one of the leading university medical institutions and part of the University of Tübingen. Our goal is to train you scientifically competent and patient-oriented. The guiding principle of teaching at the Medical Faculty is SPIRiT - Studentoriented, Practice-based, International and Research Driven in Tübingen. Tuebingen medical studies focus on the students: team-based learning, quality-assured teaching with nationwide evaluation and the teaching of practical skills in the simulation center DocLab as well as interdisciplinary qualifications in the medical education center contribute significantly to the success of the course.

The human medicine degree program at the University of Tübingen is a standard course of study with the integration of reform elements, so our longitudinal curriculum includes the contents: skills, everyday clinical practice, communication and academic research. As your level of difficulty increases, these abilities are taught to you (learning spiral).

Both in our DocLab and during the internships in the clinics you will be introduced to the know-how of communication as well as practical tools. By early participation in research and further education, we also teach you the basic understanding of medical science and research.
