All bachelor's degree programs in industrial engineering at the Munich University of Applied Sciences include a complete and generalist qualification as an industrial engineer. In the first two semesters, the module contents are almost identical. This creates a solid basis for understanding technical as well as economic relationships. The students are able to understand the content of operational issues, identify interactions and know basic problem-solving methods and have enjoyed a sound basic technical training.
In the bachelor's degree program in industrial engineering for the automotive industry, additional special focuses are set: From the third semester onwards, these basics are further deepened in a subject-specific manner. At the same time, there is a specialization in the challenges of the automotive industry. The technical basics are taught in order to fully get to know the technical system of the automobile and to understand the business and market environment of the automotive industry with its drivers and challenges. Graduates of the Automotive Industry degree program find their first job predominantly in the automotive industry with all its participating companies, from manufacturers, suppliers, development service providers and other automotive-related services to mobility service providers, as well as outside the automotive industry in mechanical engineering and with other providers of complex technical products.

When looking for an internship, you learn to navigate the tension between the wide range of offers, the regulations of your faculty and your own wishes.

The practical semester is an integral part of the 6th semester of study.
An internship abroad is expressly welcomed.
