Описание программы обучения "Integrative Health Promotion"
The integrative health promotion provides students with current scientific knowledge and established practical elements of health promotion. The students learn about methods of applied health promotion in the areas of prevention, curation and rehabilitation, in different living environments (e.g. workplace, community, university) as well as in leisure and tourism. Study together - support individually: The Coburger Way The Integrative Health Promotion course is part of the model project "The Coburger Way". That means: The students start their studies together with fellow students from other courses with the first semester event "anCOmmen". They work across disciplines on projects with students from other fields of study and they can take advantage of special, individual advisory services. Health-conscious living and working are becoming increasingly important. Possible occupational fields for graduates of integrative health promotion can be found, among other things, in occupational health promotion, health tourism, health care and municipal health promotion.
Graduates know the most important strategies for health promotion and are able to create and establish health promotion programs with different population groups or target groups. They can also view them in the context of the target group's living environment.

After successfully completing their studies, good graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies with a suitable master's degree. Projects
The students are involved in practical projects right from the start. Concrete projects with regional and national partners from companies and social institutions challenge the students to present their work results safely and create contacts to the practice.Internship semester

From the first to the fourth semester the theoretical foundations of the course are laid. Already at the beginning of the course, work is carried out in practice-oriented projects in which what has been learned can be implemented immediately. The fifth semester is a systematically accompanied internship semester.
In the sixth and seventh semester the knowledge is deepened. It is possible to choose two areas of focus from the following subjects:
- Work and health
- Tourism, Leisure and Health
- Curation, rehabilitation and health
The final part of the course is the bachelor thesis.
The course integrates the latest knowledge and established elements of health promotion. These include, for example:
- (Social) determinants of health
- Building blocks of health promotion: nutrition, exercise, relaxation
- Quality management in health promotion
Students receive intensive, scientifically sound training. The knowledge imparted encompasses the areas of health sciences and epidemiology, occupational medicine and occupational health management, wellness, tourism and leisure, law, research and business administration as well as English. The range of subjects is supplemented by topics such as moderation and advice.
