The study program International Business Administration and Foreign Trade offers already since 1978 a competent and application-related training in the International Business Administration with a focus on foreign trade. From the first day our lecturers teach from the real world. In addition to basic business knowledge, current trends in business practice are taken up and deepened in the events. Our lecturers maintain intensive contacts to leading companies from various industries. Core elements
The first semester serves to teach core elements of global action. The modules IBA International, IBA Foreign Trade and Leadership Competence offer the opportunity to deepen the knowledge on the basis of the Bachelor degree for an activity in international companies. In the IBA International module, students develop a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between micro and macroeconomic corporate environments and strategic options for action. The IBA Foreign Trade module enables students to make successful strategic and operational decisions in addition to foreign trade. The requirements for the leadership competence of future managers are taken into account by the tripartite module Leadership Competence. It gives students the ability to successfully combine their theoretical management knowledge with actual action.
Specializations
Based on the first semester, students have the opportunity in the following semester to deepen their knowledge by choosing five of the offered specialization modules according to their ideas. Due to the wide range of specialization options, the degree program takes into account the diverse diversity of global action and offers an insight into all entrepreneurial and related areas. The specialization subjects are all without exception internationally oriented and can be conveyed very practice-oriented thanks to small group sizes. More and more project work, workshops or excursions to international companies take place.

University of Applied Sciences WormsThe Faculty of Economics offers bachelor's and master's degree programs with a high international and / or industry-specific focus in its three fields of study.
The internationality is not only reflected in the content of the business subjects. Learning other foreign languages and teaching intercultural skills complete the course. In the taxation courses, however, the content is very practice-oriented and geared towards starting a career in tax consultancy professions. The consecutive master's programs offer a focus on the choice of specialization subjects with a focus on internationality and / or industry and application orientation. Attractive cooperation partners open up ideal opportunities for young professionals through their practice-oriented training.
Contacts with business are not only everyday due to the diverse cooperation partners, but also manifest through numerous lectures and projects integrated into the events, so that the learning content is always up to date.
The opportunity to write the final thesis in a company both at home and abroad gives students the opportunity to shape their career entry globally before they finish their studies.
