Стажировки и практика в программе обучения "International Computer Science"

Practical semester in the 5th semester. The practical semester includes 18 weeks of practical work in a company. It offers students the opportunity to apply what they have learned in a renowned company or an exciting start-up at home or abroad. During the practical semester, you will gain initial professional experience and make valuable contacts for your professional future.

Учебный план программы обучения "International Computer Science"

The bachelor's degree program in International Computer Science is designed as a full-time course and includes a standard period of study of seven semesters. It consists of six theoretical and one practical semester. You can also study International Computer Science in cooperation with a company.

First stage of study - 1st and 2nd semester: Basics

In the first two semesters, the basics in mathematics and programming are laid.

In addition, modules are taught that cover the wide range of applications of computer science, including computer systems, networks and finally automata, formal languages and numerical science.

As an international computer science course, *German is taught from the first semester. This enables you to complete your industrial internship with a solid knowledge of German.

*German-speaking students take another modern foreign language instead.

Second phase of study - 3rd to 5th semester: core disciplines of computer science and practice

In the third and fourth semesters, the focus is on practical knowledge that you can apply as part of your internship. The modules in the third semester are:

  • Databases
  • Global software technology
  • Operating systems
  • Statistics

The specialization areas of the computer science course in the fourth semester are:

  • Web technology project
  • Software for the global market (UI, international and local)
  • Algorithms and data structures
  • Computer architecture

In addition, either German or another modern foreign language is taught up to level B1 in both semesters.

Third stage of study - 6th and 7th semesters: in-depth studies and bachelor's thesis

At the end of the course there are four core modules: Scientific Seminar, Distributed Systems, Green IS and Information Security.
In addition, you have the opportunity to specialize according to your interests by choosing two additional subject-specific elective modules, e.g.:

  • Computer graphics
  • Human-computer interaction
  • Data warehouse
  • High Performance Computing
  • IoT Security

Bachelor's thesis

In the bachelor's thesis, students independently apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies to a complex task. You create a written report and prepare a presentation. The bachelor's thesis can be assigned as internal scientific work or created in cooperation with companies.
