The aim of the Master's degree program in Logistics is to provide sound logistical knowledge. The focus is on the development of skills to handle specific practical logistical problems and tasks. The wide range of subjects of the different logistics modules guarantees a comprehensive and practical deepening of the subject matter. This results in a variety of career opportunities later in typical logistics companies, industrial and commercial companies and companies of all kinds.

The master's degree program conveys logistical, application-oriented specialist and management understanding and prepares you to take on logistics management tasks. Technical and business approaches are combined with logistic management concepts.

The close integration and cooperation with actors of the local economy ensures a high practical relevance. This will be further enhanced by the lecture series (modules 3 and 6) or field trips or project work in the company.

Учебный план программы обучения "Logistics"

The study lasts three semesters and is divided into a total of seven modules. Each semester contains two core modules, which have an intensive teaching and training of the substance to the task. In the first semester, the focus is on logistics processes and logistics management. In the second semester intensive computer exercises are carried out on the computer and the specific knowledge for transport, handling and storage is worked out. In addition, the students learn in the 3rd and 6th module in the seminar to independently develop current topics and present them accordingly. Lectures and the two basic technical subjects bring additional variety and variations in the study. The whole thing is rounded off by excursions and practical contributions.

In the third and last semester a master thesis has to be prepared. With the successful implementation, the student shows that he is able to process a problem from the logistics environment with scientific methods within a given deadline and to present and defend it in the subsequent colloquium.

After successful completion of studies, the university awards the academic degree Master of Arts (M.A.).
