Very typical occupational fields in which our graduates will later work are positions of responsibility at logistics service providers or in companies in the transport industry as well as logistics departments at industrial and trading companies with a focus on business-organizational issues.

The most important trends in logistics and trade include the increasing division of labor, the close interlinking of material flows and the globalization of procurement and sales markets. These developments and the increasing digitalization of the economy place high demands on logistics. In addition, the high competitive pressure is forcing logistics as well as industrial and trading companies to deal with optimizing their business processes and organizational structures and to break new ground.
In the course you acquire the basic skills for a job in a logistics company or in the logistics department of an industrial or commercial company. This includes, for example, logistic service management in the areas of truck transport, inland waterway transport, sea transport, procurement, marketing, commercial and transport law as well as cost and performance accounting. In addition, you will learn more about the methods of logistics, special logistics in transport, packaging techniques and project management as well as essential content on the topic of external and green logistics.
