The first year of study serves to expand knowledge and understanding of production technology and production processes. One focus is on industrial research and development in the areas of organization, manufacturing technology, production machines and resources. Current research results flow directly into the teaching and thus ensure that the students are familiarized with the latest developments and their practical application.
The Maastricht School of Management teaches the economics part of the study program in the third semester. Here the students are introduced to globally oriented management, which is characterized by a broad understanding of social and environmental factors. The courses have an interdisciplinary approach and train the students in the fields of organizational development, sustainable competitiveness and international project management, among other things. In addition, the Faculty of Economics at the RWTH takes over the teaching of innovation management, corporate strategies and finance.
