Программа обучения Mechatronics

Программа обучения "Mechatronics" в Friedrich–Alexander University Erlangen–Nürnberg

Mechatronik

Mechatronics combines content from the classic engineering sciences mechanical engineering / mechanics, electrical engineering / electronics and computer science and networks them into a new interdisciplinary specialist area with a high degree of innovation and great growth potential. At Bavarian universities, this trend-setting subject is only offered at the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg as an undergraduate bachelor's degree with a master's degree based on it. As an engineering course, mechatronics is located in the Faculty of Technology and is largely supported by the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering-Electronic Information Technology with the participation of computer science.

Ожидаемые результаты программы обучения "Mechatronics"

The master's program offers the opportunity to deepen this knowledge in a further 4 semesters (2 years) and to specialize in sub-areas of mechatronics. It concludes with the “Master of Science”, which is equivalent to a university diploma as a research qualification and how this is recognized as an admission requirement for a doctorate in engineering.

Учебный план программы обучения "Mechatronics"

In the first 3 semesters of the master's program, students acquire in-depth competencies in 2 specializations from the list below, which range from chip manufacture to factory planning and convey the current state of knowledge of the specialist areas. In addition, there are technical and non-technical elective modules (i.e. also available from other FAU faculties), university internships and a seminar. A mandatory 8-week internship deepens the practical relevance and provides guidance for starting your career. The fourth semester comprises the six-month master's thesis, with which the students can demonstrate that they can successfully and independently complete a scientific task in mechatronics.

    Faculty of Engineering
    Friedrich–Alexander University Erlangen–Nürnberg

When the Faculty of Engineering was founded in 1966, the FAU became the first German university to combine the offer of a classic full university with that of a technical university. Since then, the Faculty of Engineering has earned an outstanding national and international reputation. This can also be seen in the number of students: since the 2013/14 winter semester, it has employed more than 10,000 students at FAU. The faculty consists of five departments: chemical and bioengineering, electrical engineering - electronics - information technology, computer science, mechanical engineering and materials science. Their headquarters are on the southern site in Erlangen with further locations in Nuremberg and Fürth.
