Карьерные перспективы по завершению программы обучения "Mechatronics"

You can follow the Bachelor’s degree with a Master’s programme or by going straight into professional life. Few study programmes offer such a diverse range of graduate employment opportunities as Mechatronics. Possible professional fields include:

  • Mechanical and plant engineering
  • Industry and consumer goods sector
  • Automotive industry
  • Aerospace
  • Information and communications technology
  • Robotics
  • Medical technology

The trend towards digitalisation in products and services is apparent in almost all sectors, which often require products that are developed and operated by mechatronics engineers. Mechatronics engineers therefore work in very different sizes of company and are in demand in the most diverse areas, for example in development, sales, project planning, product management, commissioning and consulting.

Учебный план программы обучения "Mechatronics"

The standard duration of studies for the Bachelor’s programme in Mechatronics is seven semesters. It is divided into four semesters of basic courses and a subsequent three semesters of more advanced study. The content comprises modules from Information Technology, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering according to the professional orientation of the programme.

The majority of the modules offered in the first four semesters are compulsory modules; in the fifth and sixth semesters you set your own individual focus by choosing compulsory elective modules and working on individual projects. In the concluding seventh semester you acquire additional practical skills in professional practice during the 15-week practical phase of the programme and demonstrate in the Bachelor’s thesis your capacity for independent problem-solving.

As an alternative to the regular course of studies, it is also possible to take a dual version of the programme, i.e. in combination with extended practical periods. This means that, at the end of the programme, you not only have the theoretical knowledge from the lectures and seminars at the university but are also familiar with working life in a profession or a specific sector.
