Education for a creative practice
The Media Art and Design (maad) course is dedicated to examining the possibilities and areas of application of digital technologies and focuses primarily on training individual creative practice. In addition, the imparting of relevant skills also focuses on their applicability in diverse professional and social contexts.
Focus on visual media
Media Art and Design provides knowledge for the effective use of a wide range of media technologies as well as comprehensive basics in art history and media theory. The individual components of Media Art and Design are conveyed in the sense of an integrative practice and thus create a well-founded basis for dealing with visual media in a creative and critical way.
Individualization through project structure
In order to give students the opportunity to set their own priorities and expand their skills, Media Art and Design is designed as a project study. When creating and implementing their own study plans, students can access the resources of all courses and thus react to their own interests as well as to changes in the respective desired professional fields.
