First stage of study (4 semesters)

In the first stage of the study, the student should primarily learn the basics of medicine. The subjects decide accordingly

The last section of the 4th semester is reserved for organ-related integrated seminars and seminars with clinical references. The aim of these teaching events is to promote systemic thinking and to enable students to build bridges between the basic subjects. The first stage of study lasts 2 years and is completed with the first stage of the medical examination.

To register for the exam, 15 certificates of achievement ("certificates") are required (see ÄAppO, Appendix 1). In addition, a certificate of nursing service (90 days) and proof of training in first aid are required. We strongly recommend that you provide the nursing service before you begin your studies.

Second stage of study

In the second stage of the course, key symptom-related instruction is offered. The course consists of five modules. Essential elements of the course in section 2 are regular and standardized tests of knowledge, skills and abilities as well as defined scope for scientific work.
