The programme consists of two phases. The first phase lasts four semesters. It is concluded by the preliminary medical examination (Physikum). Students are expected to attend several courses, among others: "Physics for Medical Students", "Chemistry for Medical Students", "Biology for Medical Students", "Physiology", "Biochemistry/Molecular Biology", "Macroscopic Anatomy", "Microscopic Anatomy", etc. The second, clinical phase lasts six semesters followed by the second part of the medical examination. The last and sixth year is the so-called practical year which is conluded by the third part of the medical examination. The following fields are addressed, among others: general medicine, anaesthesiology, ophthalmology, surgery, dermatology, gynaecology, etc. Students are also expected to complete several internships (e.g. in general medicine, surgery, paediatrics, etc.).Факультет
