As a degree that qualifies you for a job, the course imparts skills that qualify you for the following fields of activity, among others:

Organizational Pedagogy

• Educational management in the field of further education
• In-company training and further education in the personnel and organizational development of companies
• In general and vocational adult education as lecturers at state or private educational institutions (e.g. adult education centres, educational institutions)
• In educational research (after the Master's degree)

Cultural Education

• In extracurricular youth education
• In cultural educational institutions (e.g. cultural centers), in art and cultural institutions (e.g. museums)
• In associations
• In counseling facilities

Special Notes:

• A pedagogy degree is not a degree that qualifies you for the teaching profession
• One should have at least a basic interest in educational, social and labor market policy contexts
• In the pedagogy course, psychological content only accounts for a rather small proportion of the entire course
• By the time you complete your bachelor's degree, you must have completed an internship of six weeks, further internships are recommended

Ожидаемые результаты программы обучения "Pedagogy"

The study of pedagogy in the bachelor's program aims to impart theoretical and practical skills for dealing with pedagogical problems and the ability to reflect on pedagogical approaches. In particular, the pedagogical forms of action of teaching, advising, informing, arranging, innovating are taken into account.

In order to achieve this qualification profile, the course contributes to the development of the following skills:

• Competence:
  Knowledge of the main historical stations and systematic thematic complexes as well as the practical problems and tasks of pedagogy.
• Methodological competence:
  Knowledge and ability to apply essential pedagogical methods.
• Reflection and argumentation skills: Goal-oriented and justified reflection and argumentation using the pedagogical theories and methods.
