Many paths are open. Most of the time, the master’s degree is followed by a doctorate in which a further specialization in a field of drug research takes place.

Afterwards, graduates will open up professional fields along the entire value chain of drugs, be it in research, development, production, sales, marketing or quality assurance of drugs, both in the pharmaceutical, chemical or pharmacy-related industry, as well as in academic or non-university research institutions.

The acquisition and deepening of specialist skills in the pharmaceutical disciplines as well as in related subjects enables graduates to act as a link between different to be able to function in different disciplines. Thanks to the independent work in research projects already funded during their studies, graduates are able to carry out creative research and address a wide variety of issues that require the courage to new thinking. Due to the high flexibility and the acquired ability to familiarize themselves with other fields of work relatively easily, long-term unemployment of the graduates is not to be expected.
