The Pharmaceutical Institute of the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen is the largest in Baden-Württemberg: More than 700 students are currently studying here, who are supervised by ten professors, three junior professors and more than 60 academic staff. All pharmaceutical subjects are represented in research and teaching by professors from the Pharmaceutical Institute. The long tradition of introducing students to scientific research through a six-month pharmaceutical diploma thesis has been developed into an interdisciplinary and international Master of Science. The M. Sc. Since WS 13/14, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies has offered pharmacy and B. Sc. Students from biomedical and natural sciences subjects a broad spectrum of deepening and specialization in pharmaceutical sciences.

In addition, thanks to the open design of the course and its flexibility, the graduates have the opportunity to gain additional knowledge that can be significant for the job market. By choosing modules from subjects outside of pharmacy, such as From computer science (for production), molecular biology (for drug development) or psychology (for marketing or patient use), great additional benefits can be acquired for work in the relevant positions in the pharmaceutical industry.
