Программа обучения Physics

Программа обучения "Physics" в Technische Universität Berlin

Physik

Physics explores states and processes in nature with the aim of finding universally valid quantitative laws for their description. Their specific way of working with the interaction of experiment and theory, the diverse applications of their results, e.g. in technology, and the strong penetration of physical theories with mathematical models make physics a versatile science.

Описание программы обучения "Physics"

Physics is indispensable for understanding our world and for solving its technical and environmental problems in the future. In addition to the fundamental question "... what keeps the world together at its core ...", physicists at the TU Berlin are primarily concerned with problems arising from technical applications. Most technical innovations have become possible only through the previous clarification of physical fundamentals. A current example is nanotechnology, which now affects almost all areas of life. Their realization is based on research results of solid-state physics and quantum theory.

Physicists will continue to be involved in finding new sources of energy or reducing environmental impact.

Карьерные перспективы по завершению программы обучения "Physics"

Unlike professional education, the program does not train for a specific job. Therefore, it is important for the determination of the job description to explore possible fields of application during the course of the studies and on one's own initiative. Here, the offers of the Career Service can support and the contact points of the study counselors like to give hints. But also student initiatives, professional associations or professional fairs help with orientation in the labor market jungle.

Physicists will continue to be involved in finding new sources of energy or reducing environmental impact. The concrete learning objectives of the degree program and possible fields of application are described in the study regulations. The job center of the Employment Agency provides general information about the job profile.

Ожидаемые результаты программы обучения "Physics"

During their studies, students fill their personal "toolbox", i. they acquire expertise in a field and a range of competencies that do not set them on a particular career path. Bachelor graduates have various options: direct entry into the profession, a consecutive so-called consecutive master's program for specialization and specialization, an interdisciplinary master's program, a subsequent academic career with a doctorate, etc., or a subsequent qualification based on the first professional experience gained. Often the decision to do so will develop through the experience gained and insights gained in the bachelor program.

Option for Master at the TU Berlin: Master Program Physics.

Учебный план программы обучения "Physics"

In cooperation with the Physics Commission (PK) and the responsible lecturers of the respective courses, the Physics Study Consortium has established an optimized (non-overlapping) course schedule for all compulsory lectures in physics for the winter and summer semesters.

This overlap freedom is intended to make studying easier for all students. Compulsory courses, which are planned according to the curriculum, can thus be easily documented.

During the planning of the optimized course schedule, it was ensured that study in standard period of study is possible according to the curricula; for students who started their studies in the winter semester as well as for students who preferred to start in the summer semester. For students who need to attend an event again after one year, a course of study should be made possible without overlapping with the courses of their current semester.

The advantages of such a regulation are the planning security for lecturers and a guaranteed non-overlapping course schedule for students.
