Программа обучения "Psychology" в Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich

Psychologie

Psychology is the study of the forms and laws of human experience and behavior. This includes both the normal experience and behavior of people without mental health problems and that of people with mental health problems or illnesses. As an empirical science, psychology is both basic and application-oriented: it strives to use scientific methods to determine general laws of psychological processes and structures and their behavior-controlling functions in order to make scientifically well-founded proposals for changing behavior in a wide variety of practical fields to be able to. The development of suitable methodical approaches for processing the tasks mentioned is of great importance. It is characteristic of psychology that it is a cross-disciplinary science that combines elements from the humanities, social sciences and, in particular, natural sciences.

Учебный план программы обучения "Psychology"

The one-subject bachelor's degree in psychology comprises 180 ECTS and has a standard period of study of 6 semesters. Teaching in the Bachelor's program in Psychology pursues a double goal: Psychology should be presented as a science in its entirety and at the same time elementary skills in practical psychological work should be imparted. Accordingly, the course focuses in the first semesters on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge in the basic subjects of psychology as well as a thorough methodological training in the empirical research methods of psychology. In addition, students acquire specialized skills in psychological interviewing and testing in specialized courses, which are to be regarded as basic skills for all activities of a psychologist. The application-oriented focal points of the course are: "Clinical Psychology", "Business and Organizational Psychology" and "Educational Psychology and Pedagogy". In order to increase the practical relevance of the course, three areas of application and an internship of at least six weeks are planned.
