The Master in Psychology offers application-oriented training that covers psychology in its entirety. It imparts technical and methodological key competencies for the most important areas of application in psychology as well as for selected research topics.
The Master’s degree in Psychology builds on the content of the Bachelor’s degree and deepens the content and methods dealt with there. It creates the prerequisites for independent psychological occupation but also the opportunity to work in research.

Стажировки и практика в программе обучения "Psychology"
A 12-week compulsory, job-oriented internship must be completed during the Master’s degree. This internship can be split into four- and / or eight-week partial internships. The total hours worked (in hours) must correspond to the weekly working hours customary in the industry.
The internship can, for example, be completed in specialist clinics, established therapy practices, counseling facilities or companies.

The study program consists of compulsory and elective modules. In the compulsory modules, methodological competencies in the areas of diagnostics, assessment, statistics as well as test planning and data analysis are expanded and deepened. In addition, the students choose modules from a wide range of elective modules, which are divided into three main areas, two of which are studied in depth
Focus on clinical psychology
The focus on clinical psychology conveys content and skills for diagnosis, therapy and research into mental disorders and diseases.
Focus on business and work
The focus on business and work conveys content and competencies that enable activities in areas such as personnel psychology, organizational psychology, mediation, professional rehabilitation, ergonomics and health psychology.
Focus on development and cognition
The focus on development and cognition deepens content and methods from cognitive and neuroscientific basic research on the one hand and offers both scientific and practical topics of applied developmental psychology on the other.
In the elective area, each student must acquire 10 ECTS points.
As part of the master's thesis, the students work on a scientifically relevant question using the specialist knowledge and methods they have learned.
A 12-week job-oriented internship must be completed during the course.

Catholic University of Eichstätt-IngolstadtWith around 900 students, the Philosophical and Pedagogical Faculty is one of the university's third largest. The subject areas of education, psychology, philosophy, art, music, sport and work studies are united under the umbrella of the Faculty of Philosophy and Education. Almost 20 professors, a large number of academic staff and academic support staff ensure excellent student support. The primary school teacher training course is one of the three most popular courses at the university.
Методика оценки заявок
The grade of the first professional university degree is used to determine a ranking position for the applicant among all applications received on time. Additional points are awarded for the ranking for study and examination achievements amounting to at least 15 ECTS points from non-psychological subjects, whereby at least 4 ECTS points must come from the areas of scientific theory, scientific ethics, philosophy or theology. Applicants will be informed in writing of the ranking position determined in the admission procedure and thus the determination of success or failure in the admission procedure.
