The school practice semester allows you to immerse yourself in the everyday school life for one semester and to gain important experience for your career orientation as well as get to know the field of activity school under professional guidance. It is in the M.Ed. Lehramt Gymnasium is integrated and will be completed in the 3rd semester (study start in the HWS) or 2nd semester (study start in the FSS). The courses in the fields of education and subject didactics are tailored to the school practice semester and take into account your respective level of knowledge and practical experience. In M.Ed. Teaching High School study two equivalent subjects, subject didactics and educational sciences. Further components of the program are the school practice semester and the master thesis. In total, the degree program comprises 120 ECTS credits. An ECTS point corresponds to a workload of 30 hours. As a rule, you complete your studies in 4 semesters (standard period of study).
