With your bachelor's degree in architecture, you can go straight into practice, for example in building planning, construction management, project development and control, in facility management or in professional fields of design - our application-oriented course prepares you in the best possible way. Alternatively, you can deepen your knowledge in a master’s degree and thus acquire the protected professional title of “architect” and thus the authorization to work independently.

After completing your bachelor's degree at Münster University of Applied Sciences, you will have competencies in the various architectural fields of activity. This includes, for example, design and construction, but also technical skills. You will be able to identify architectural problems, develop and communicate solutions and manage complex projects. You will weigh up different approaches against each other and develop your own architectural position.

The architecture bachelor's degree provides you with basic specialist knowledge and methodological skills in the core areas of construction.
Which factors make a building safe and stable? You will receive answers to these and other questions in the first year of study in the modules "Material Technology", "Structural Engineering" or "Building Construction". In the further course of your studies you will take modules from the broad spectrum of architecture - from construction management to architectural history. Our diverse range of courses offer you a lot of freedom and options: There is not only one way to the goal!
Our so-called “toolbox” accompanies you throughout the course. This tool box will help you to understand and internalize the complex design process - a central topic of the course. From the first semester onwards, you will use the "tools", starting with simple spatial exercises in the "Design Basics", through the design of individual buildings, to planning an entire city.
