Students are recommended to study one semester at a foreign university. The Faculty of Law and Economics of the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg maintains partnerships with several universities abroad, which include an exchange of students. The Faculty of Law and Economics appoints commissioners who advise students on planned study abroad and who accompany the exchange organisationally with the partner universities. Study achievements at a foreign university can be recognized in accordance with § 17 (13). Prior to commencement of studies abroad, an agreement must be reached with the Wirtschaftsprüfungsamt and the responsible examiners regarding the recognition of certain services to be provided abroad. A learning agreement within the meaning of the ECTS must be concluded.
