Описание программы обучения "Computer Science"
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is a three-year university degree program
- basic computer science knowledge,
- knowledge in important IT systems and
- the software development skills
taught. It offers a professional qualifying university degree and the prerequisites for a further research-oriented degree.
Individual courses towards the end of the bachelor's program are offered in English in order to meet the international orientation of the subject of computer science.
The consecutive master's program "Computer Science" is a two-year university degree program, which requires the knowledge of the bachelor's degree in computer science. Students can choose a computer science area as a specialist subject and be qualified to advanced development and independent research work in computer science.
The start of studies is possible for the summer and winter semesters.

The three-year university course teaches:
- basic computer science knowledge
- knowledge of important computer systems
- and the software development skills
The compulsory area consists of the modules software development, computer science systems, theoretical basics including mathematics and general basics. A self-selected focus deepens the study in one of seven teaching areas, which is complemented by a likewise freely chosen minor subject.

University of KaiserslauternKaiserslautern is one of Germany's largest computer science sites, whose core is the computer science department.
Since its founding in 1974, three well-known research institutes have emerged from its internationally successful work.
With 24 professorships, the department covers all areas of computer science and can thus do justice to the importance of computer science as a key competence for almost all sciences at the TU and continue to take over the central role of computer science research and development in Kaiserslautern.
