Dental education will be conducted on a scientific basis, taking into account the principles of an evidence-based assessment of medical and dental procedures. The practical training should also include aspects of dental interviewing as well as dental quality assurance and promote the willingness to work together with other dentists and dentists and physicians as well as members of other health care professions.Учебный план программы обучения "Dentistry"
Study structure and content are regulated in the licensing regulations for dentists of 26.01.1955 (BGBl. I p. 37), in the version of the Fourth Ordinance amending the Licensing Regulations for Dentists of 10.11.1999 (BGBl. I p. 2162).
The study is divided into a preclinical (5 semester) and a clinical section (5 semesters). The completion of the clinical section (after 10 semesters) forms the dental examination.

Martin Luther University Halle-WittenbergThe Faculty of Medicine is an integral part of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. It is the founding faculty of the two roots of Martin Luther University: Halle and Wittenberg. In Halle, medicine has been available since 1694.
In addition to the degree program in Medicine, the Faculty offers the study programs Dentistry, the Bachelor Degree Course "Evidence-based Nursing" (B.Sc.) and the Master of Science "Nursing and Health Care Sciences" as well as the PhD program "Participation as the Goal of Nursing and Therapy" very well equipped institutes and clinics.
The University Hospital Halle (Saale) is, as stipulated in the Higher Education Act of the Land of Saxony-Anhalt, an independent institution under public law and serves the Medical Faculty of Teaching and Research.
