The graduates are empowered to design health promotion, education and prevention in family, school, work and leisure.

Possible occupational fields are educational institutions, rehabilitation facilities, municipalities and districts, companies, clubs and associations as well as other health care facilities. The close network with institutions in the region (health insurance, district office, city, clinics, companies, schools) is a central part of the study organization and ensures its practical orientation.

Учебный план программы обучения "Health Promotion"

The specialty of the course is the interplay of several approaches and providers and the combination of previously juxtaposed competencies. This is guaranteed by the networking of several disciplines in study and practical parts.

The main training subjects are:

Sport and exercise deals with exercise and lack of exercise in connection with physical and psychological well-being.
Health Sociology examines social opportunities and risks, their social prerequisites and ways of controlling them.
Health Psychology deals with behavior change, life satisfaction, stress management and social support and develops programs for life skills.
Ern nutritional science deals with the requirements, risks and opportunities of nutrition in different life situations and imparts skills in the area of health-promoting nutrition.

The course is based on imparting solid scientific work techniques, communicating and presenting skills and, through thorough methodological training, enables planning, implementation, evaluation and quality assurance of health-promoting measures.
