The industrial engineering degree course provides you with versatile training in technical areas of mechanical engineering, combined with business knowledge and skills for the holistic optimization and selection of technical and process engineering solutions.

This ensures the ability to exercise a technology-related, business management function in an industrial company.

Close cooperation with industry in the context of practical projects supports you in acquiring leadership and management skills.

Учебный план программы обучения "Industrial Engineering"

The course has a standard period of study of 7 semesters. Its content builds on one another: first, there is the basic study of natural sciences, engineering and business administration. Afterwards, you can choose between the specialisations "General Mechanical Engineering" (AMB), "Vehicle Technology" (FZT), "Safety Engineering" (SI) and Computational Engineering (CE) , in which you then receive individual further training in the basics as well as in new specialisations.

Specific features of the industrial engineering course are derived from mechanical engineering and business administration. The focus of the training is in the technical area (approx. 65%), primarily on the fundamentals and the design and development of vehicles, machines and machine parts. The closely related business administration part imparts knowledge and skills for the holistic optimization and selection of technical and process engineering solutions. This ensures the ability to exercise a technology-related, business management function in an industrial company.

The bachelor's degree program meets the international requirements for two-stage study models and thus represents a first professional qualification (Bachelor of Engineering). It is an internationally recognized academic degree according to European guidelines.
