The Master of Arts International Management is a postgraduate, full-time study programme. You can complete it within three semesters. The programme features internationality, science and application orientation.
It targets:
- graduates from a bachelor’s programme in international management who aim for advanced studies as well as
- students with a bachelor’s degree in business studies seeking specialisation in international management.

As a graduate from the master’s programme International Management, you are able to work in various fields. You can become a specialist e.g. in marketing, human resources management or finance and controlling. You could also work as a general in-house or external consultant or in corporate development and planning. Alternatively, you could start your own business based on the knowledge and expertise acquired during the master’s programme.
In addition, all graduates are qualified to take responsibility and work in executive positions in international enterprises or other organisations.

This is thanks to the modular syllabus with a focus on international and research-orientated contents. In the compulsory modules, you acquire a solid general management qualification. The elective modules allow you to specialise in specific functions or industries. The study programme is scientifically demanding. University of Applied Sciences DüsseldorfScience and practice-proven business skills enable students to obtain high-quality training that qualifies them both for a direct entry into the profession after completing their bachelor's degree and for advanced master's and doctoral programs. The department also strengthens the flexibility of its graduates through its high methodological competence. Small groups in teaching and direct contact with the teachers enable interactive lessons. In event forms such as projects, exercises and business games, the students acquire important professional skills.

Special admission requirements (overview in English):
- Successful completion of a bachelor’s programme in business studies, with an overall grade equivalent to ECTS B or better. This corresponds to the best 35 % of the reference group.
- English language proficiency of at least B2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
