Карьерные перспективы по завершению программы обучения "Medicine"
Continuing education as a general practitioner or physician with area designation takes place after approval in university hospitals or clinics and lasts four to six years, depending on the area of specialization. In addition, training in special medical fields is possible (for example, allergology, occupational medicine, homeopathy, natural remedies, psychotherapy, sports medicine, tropical medicine), which allows the management of an additional name. - Last year a coherent practical training (practical year) of 48 weeks and the third section of the medical exam
Preclinical part
The pre-clinical program comprises four semesters in which the natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology) and medical (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry / molecular biology) basic subjects including clinical references are taught, along with medical psychology and medical sociology and an elective subject (with graded certificate).
The registration for the examinations must demonstrate the regular and successful attendance of practical exercises during medical studies. (For the course registration and prerequisites for participation, see below in the section "Tips for freshers".) For pre-clinical studies, these are (in brackets, the semesters envisaged in Würzburg)
- Scientific Foundations of Medicine (1st semester)
- Physics Physics Internship
- Chemistry internship for physicians
- Internship in biology for physicians
- Practical Physiology (two-semester, in the 3rd and 4th semester)
- Internship in Biochemistry / Molecular Biology (two semesters, 2nd and 3rd semester)
- Macroscopic Anatomy Course (2nd or 3rd semester - winter semester only)
- Course of Microscopic Anatomy (2nd or 3rd semester - summer semester only)
- Course of Medical Psychology (2nd semester)
- Seminar Physiology (4th semester)
- Seminar Biochemistry (two-semester, 2nd and 3rd semester)
- Seminar Anatomy (two-semester, 2nd and 3rd or 3rd and 4th semester)
- Seminar of Medical Psychology and Medical Sociology (2nd semester), each with clinical references
- Practical course in clinical medicine (with patient presentation) (three-semester, 2nd-4th semester)

Nursing or training (such as community service, voluntary social year) can be credited, as well as a nursing service provided abroad.
Components of the test
Written exams in the subject areas
- Physics for Physicians and Physiology (80 questions)
- Chemistry for Physicians and Biochemistry / Molecular Biology (80 questions)
- Biology for Physicians and Anatomy (100 questions)
- Foundations of Medical Psychology and Medical Sociology (60 questions)
The written exams take place at a uniform time (twice a year) by means of a multiple choice exam.
Oral-practical exams (between 45 and 60 minutes) in the subjects
- Anatomy
- Biochemistry / Molecular Biology
- Physiology
Clinical part
The clinical part consists of six study semesters and the Practical Year.
The study semesters include the basic clinical subjects (eg pathology and neuropathology, human genetics, microbiology, history of medicine, immunology and immunopathology, pharmacology and toxicology) and the clinical-practical subjects (eg internal medicine, surgery, Paediatrics) and an optional subject. There are credits in practical exercises, seminars and subject-related study groups in a total of 22 subjects (partially coupled interdisciplinary), 14 cross-sectional areas and 5 block internships.
The written examinations of the second section of the Medical Examination will also be held here on a standardized date, whereby all candidates have to answer the same central questions (in the form of a multiple-choice exam).
