Music design regards working with sound as part of an overall staging that can be experienced by the listener in a multimedia and multi-sensory way. Music designers work closely with other artists, marketing and product acoustics experts in the areas of brand communication, product development, architecture, media installation, film, interactive application and mobile content in the conception and implementation of this staging. Music designers create sound from the elements (composed) of music, language, sound and noise and can analyze and assess this sound from an aesthetic and psychoacoustic point of view.

Учебный план программы обучения "Music Design"
The music design course is offered by the State University of Music Trossingen in cooperation with the Furtwangen University (Faculty of Digital Media). Graduates acquire the academic degree "Bachelor of Music" after eight semesters.
The core of the course is solid musical basic training in ear training, composition and instrumentation / arrangement. The artistic focus is in the broadest sense in the musical composition. Additional content includes audio and video technology, market knowledge, media studies and project management.
