Карьерные перспективы по завершению программы обучения "Teaching at Elementary Schools"

With the first state examination (completion of studies) you can apply for the second phase of teacher training, for the preparatory service. In principle, this can also be carried out in other federal states. Inquiries about the application should be addressed to the relevant ministry of education in the host country.

In the state of Saxony-Anhalt, the preparatory service currently lasts 16 months.

During the preparatory service you already work at a school, observe and teach under the guidance of a mentor. Accompanying study seminars must be attended for this. At the end of the preparatory service, you take the second state examination and can use it to apply for a position as a teacher in the state school system.

Modularization of studies

The teaching degree courses are offered in the form of modules. A module consists of several courses (lectures, seminars, exercises, internships, etc.) that form a thematic unit, are coordinated in terms of time and content, have clearly defined requirements and provide for the award of credit points (CP) after passing all module examinations/partial module examinations . Module examinations take place during the course of study, certain modules are weighted with a total of 60% in the respective subject grade of the first state examination.

Key qualification module for teachers

The LSQ module "Communication, Heterogeneity and Inclusion" deals with the acquisition of skills and abilities for the development of a physiological speaking voice.
The Center for Teacher Education offers additional voice checks independently of this. Here, every prospective teacher can get an individual assessment and advice on their own voice free of charge. However, the voice check is not equivalent to a phoniatric report.

Furthermore, the LSQ module serves to critically reflect on current research discussions on inclusion and the acquisition of skills, learning and performance potential in heterogeneous groups. The aim is to reflect on their benefits and to derive theoretical and practical solutions.

First state examination for teaching at primary schools

The state examination consists of the following parts:

  • of the academic paper
  • a written final exam in each of the three subjects studied
  • An oral final exam each in the subjects Education and Psychology
